Lana is an award-winning photographer based in Morgan Hill and Monterey, California, with a background as unconventional as her creative eye. She started out studying accounting, a foundation that gave her an appreciation for numbers and detail, before following her passion into formal studies in photography and design. For over a decade, she has worked as a graphic designer, currently with a public agency in San Jose. That design sensibility shows up in everything she shoots.
Inspired by nature and wildlife, Lana is especially passionate about macro photography, capturing the intricate beauty of small details. She has also expanded her portfolio to include bird photography and scenic landscapes, exploring the natural world from new perspectives.
On the portrait side, Lana works with families, children, couples, students, and pets throughout the greater San Jose South Bay and Monterey Bay area and beyond. Her fun and energetic spirit helps make her clients feel relaxed and genuine, because the best photos don't come from posing perfectly — they come from actually enjoying the moment.

Every great photographer needs a great team, and Lana's secret weapon is Niamh, her daughter and right-hand creative.
Niamh keeps things running behind the scenes, helping organize and catalog the ever-growing photo archive and lending her eye to image curation. She even had a hand in selecting the prints now available as postcards — so if you've fallen in love with one, you may have her taste to thank. (Postcards will soon be available at Niamh.Studio.)
But Niamh isn't just behind the camera, she's in front of it too. You'll spot her throughout this website as a featured model, and her presence goes beyond these pages. She graced the cover of Monterey Bay Parent Magazine's March 2023 issue and has been building her modeling experience on the T-stage in San Francisco since 2025.
She's a natural in every sense of the word and an absolute joy to work with.

Jennifer is a trusted friend and the quiet force behind the scenes, lending a hand wherever it's needed — whether that's marketing, logistics, or moral support. And when the energy on set needs a boost, she's been known to bring in the secret weapon: her dog, Rocco, whose enthusiasm is absolutely contagious and completely non-negotiable.
She may not be the one behind the lens, but her presence and Rocco's are always felt.
